Kurt Nielsen Photography is a portrait studio located in Sylvania, Ohio and proudly serves the Greater Toledo Area, Northwest Ohio, Southeastern Michigan and beyond. As both owner and photographer at the studio, Kurt's engaging and creative style combined with 25 years experience and excellant customer service has earned him an outstanding reputation as a professional photographer. Kurt also offers on-location and destination photography. His motto is "have camera, will travel."
Kurt started out in photography in college and eventually at a couple of "chain store" photography studios. His desire to give the best experience and customer service led him to start his own portrait studio in 1997. His passion for capturing memories through images shines in all of his photographs. His laid back style of photographing keeps his clients relaxed during their photo shoots and makes for natural poses and expressions. Kurt's attention to details means that your hair won't be in your face, your necklace clasp won't be showing, the tux jacket won't be bunched up, and everything will look perfect.

Are you looking for a unique way to engage your wedding guests and "Wow" them all night long? Kurt's Kustom Keepsakes is a green screen division of Kurt Nielsen Photography. This photo booth service is a great addition to any event and we can print 4" x 6" images right on the spot. The images can be used for party favors or souvenirs, thank you gifts, sign-in books, or any way you wish. We can even customize the background images to fit your personality and/or theme of your wedding. We recently have included a scrapbook option where we print the photos and your guests can sign the scrapbook pages. This has become a popular option with our photobooth packages. Our green screen photo booth will keep your wedding guests entertained all night long and provide lasting memories to treasure for years to come.

Kurt does everything by appointment only, so even though these are his posted hours, please call in advance to be sure someone is actually in the office when you get there because he may be out of the office or on location.

Kurt is also willing to travel anywhere for your destination wedding. Destination weddings can be the Bahamas, Hawaii, Mexico, or anywhere a passport or air travel is needed. However, a desination wedding could also be as close as Chicago, Cleveland, Akron, Dayton or Cincinnati. No matter what you consider as your destination wedding site, Kurt is willing to accomodate your needs.
