Some photographers call them Senior Models or Senior Representatives, Kurt calls them Senior Ambassadors. A Senior Ambassador represents Kurt Nielsen Photography for promotional and advertising purposes. By becoming a Senior Ambassador, you will receive discounts on your senior portraits when you have your friends come to Kurt Nielsen Photogaphy for their Senior Photos. For each friend that brings in your card, you will also be in the running for a $100 pre-paid Visa gift card. The more friends that you have come to Kurt for their senior pics, the more money you will save on your senior photos and the better chance you have of winning the Visa Gift Card. A limited number of representatives will be chosen from each area high school, so apply early.
Our Senior Representatives will receive a FREE mini portrait session which must be held before April 30, 2013. A few days after your mini session, you will be given 25 personalized Senior Rep cards to share with your friends. These cards will have 5 images from your mini session and your name and school on them. It is important that you give these cards to the friends that you know will come in for their senior photos. In order to verify that you referred these friends to Kurt, they MUST bring in your Rep Card. Don't worry, if they want to keep the card, Kurt will give it back to them at their senior photo session. Because so many of our Ambassadors have mutual friends, the Rep Card is a way to verify which friend should get the credit. Plus, on the back of your Rep Card is a coupon for your friends to receive a discount on their Senior Portrait Session Fee. There are no exceptions to this rule. If they do not bring in your card, you will not receive credit and they will not receive the discounted session fee. At your mini session, you will then be able to schedule your regular full portrait session. (Because I also do weddings, my Saturdays for this summer are almost completely booked already. Therefore I am giving you the opportunity to book your session before any one else so you can have the date that best fits your busy schedule.) A parent or legal guardian is required to attend your mini portrait session so that Kurt knows that they are fully aware of your intentions of representing Kurt Nielsen Photography. When you receive your Rep Cards, your images will be placed on my website, facebook page and blog. They may also be used in print ads. Kurt also requires you to friend him on Facebook so he can tag your photos. It's a good idea to have your parents be friends on facebook also so he can tag them as well to help you get more friends to bring in your Rep Cards. Whichever Senior Ambassador who has the most Rep Cards brought in by their friends by August 31, 2013 will win a $100 pre-paid Visa Gift Card!
We are looking for students from the Class of 2014 with outgoing personalities who like to have fun. We prefer our representatives to be involved in extra-curricular activities and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done, whatever the job may be. Your senior portraits should reflect your personality. For your mini photo session, bring in a couple of outfits that represent your style. If you play a sport, bring in your uniform. If you play an instrument, bring that in. Bring in your friends, your siblings or your pets. Whatever makes you, you. We want to show your individuality in your senior photos. Be prepared to be at my studio for approximately one hour. During this time you will have your mini photo session and then a brief time for your parent or legal guardian to speak with Kurt about the Senior Ambassador program. If you have the most friends that bring in your Rep Card by August 31, 2013, you will be declared the winner of the $100 pre-paid Visa Gift Card, so make sure you tell your friends that they have to come in before August 31, 2013.
Please do not apply if you will be away at camp or on vacation for the entire summer. Also, please do not pass out your senior rep cards to your friends that will be away for the summer. These circumstances makes it impossible for you to win and it makes it difficult for Kurt to schedule your outdoor portrait session.
Your child's senior year of high school can be very expensive. You will have fees for tests, graduation, announcements, invitations, cap and gown, yearbooks and ads in them, college applications, prom and of course, senior photos, along with so much more. Kurt Nielsen Photography is giving you the opportunity to save some money by allowing your child to become a Senior Ambassador for the studio. If your child (or you) gets one student into our studio for their senior photos, you will get your child's senior photo session FREE! This is a savings of up to $79.95 (plus tax) right off the bat. Then for each additional student that comes in for your child, you will also receive a $10 credit towards your package purchase. The more students that come in with your child's Rep Card, the more money you save. Depending on your choice of photo packages, you could easily get your child's senior photos for FREE! As was previously mentioned, it is imperative that the students that come to Kurt Nielsen Photography, as referred by your child, MUST bring in your child's Rep Card in order for you to receive the credit. It is therefore advised, that you aid in the distribution of the Senior Rep Cards. Students tend to lose or forget them, but with your help, they will more than likely remember to bring them in. You also MUST come in for your child's FREE mini portrait session because we require you to sign a contract about your child representing Kurt Nielsen Photography. Kurt will also answer any questions you may have about the program at this time. A credit card will also be required at this time to hold the date for your child's full Senior Portrait Session. Prior to their full session, we will remind you about it by either email or telephone just in case you have forgotten. No fees will be charged to the credit card unless your child does not show up for their full photo session. This policy is in place due to the fact that your child's session could be filled by another client and Kurt would be losing that session time. If your child does not show and did not reschedule their appointment time at least 48 hours prior to their scheduled appointment, your credit card WILL be charged for the full session fee. In case of bad weather, your child should have the in-studio portion of their senior portraits taken at the scheduled time and Kurt will reschedule the outside portion then.
If your school has a designated yearbook photographer, you MUST go to that photographer for your yearbook photo ONLY. For the portraits that you want to purchase, you may go to any photographer of your choosing. You do NOT have to buy your senior pics from the designated yearbook photographer.
